Sugar Ray Leonard - one of the best and highest profile boxers of all time - is in Sheffield tomorrow.

He is to officially open the ‘Pow Fitness’ gym on The Moor, at noon.

The centre is a brand new one, run by former Sheffield champion and current trainer Ryan Rhodes.

The 58-year-old American ring icon will address fans before cutting the ribbon.

Rhodes said: “It has been a manic time preparing for this day, but we can’t wait to see Sugar Ray - my all time hero.”

Leonard has several appointments in England, during his brief visit.

Tomorrow, the multi-millionaire is expected to be at the city centre gym for around an hour.

Fact spot: Leonard was a gold medal winner at light welterweight in the Olympics of Montreal in 1976.
