A MEETING to discuss the future of services for deaf people in Rotherham will be held next week.
Rotherham Deaf Future has organised the open meeting welcoming all members of the deaf community to come along and discuss their issues and ideas.
The organisation is made up of tenants and residents and is managed and controlled by deaf people.
It will welcome Shona McFarlane, director of health and wellbeing at Rotherham Council, who will host a question-and-answer session. She is keen to hear how support and relations with the sensory improvement team at the authority can be strengthened and developed.
It takes place on Thursday, May 12 in room two of Rotherham central library between 1pm and 3pm.
