Student doctors from Sheffield University have organised a fun event to reduce children’s fears about doctors and hospitals.

Youngsters aged four to 11 are invited to bring their teddy bears to have a consultation with a teddy bear doctor.

The free drop-in session at Weston Park Museum will also include the opportunity to look at X-rays, use stethoscopes and talk about any fears or concerns.

Organisers hope the event - on Saturday, February 25, from 10am to 5pm - will help teach children about healthy eating, hygiene and exercise, and give the students valuable experience of interacting with children.
