BAKERY staff cooked up a sweet treat for Sheffield Children’s Hospital by collecting £6,000 in tins displayed in each of their South Yorkshire shops.
Cooplands has been supporting the hospital’s official charity since 2009 and has raised the impressive total so far thanks to donations from customers at 75 shops across the region.
Robert McIlroy, sales and marketing director, said: “We first started supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital when a staff member told us her granddaughter was being treated there.
“Since then we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers and our thanks must go out to them. Without them we wouldn’t have reached this fantastic total.”
