HEALTH RISK: Chips recalled due to milk cross-contamination

Company Manning Impex is recalling Leslie's Clover Chips Barbecue flavour because of cross-contamination with milk.

In a statement to the Food Standards Agency, the company said: "Our advice to consumers -if you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where you bought it."

Manning Impex is recalling the product from sale and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has contacted all of their customers. The affected product will be relabelled with the correct information.

No other Leslie's brand products are known to be affected.
