The team at Yorkshire Air Ambulance is flying high after receiving a £5,000 donation from Westfield Health in Sheffield to help keep the life saving service in the air.

The region’s rapid response air emergency service will use the money to maintain its two helicopters, allowing lives across Yorkshire to continue to be saved.

Westfield’s chairman, Graham Moore, said: “Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a vital service for more than five million people across our region.

“We are proud to offer our support to the charity.”
