He deserves knighthood

Although we are celebrating your achievements we should not forget Richard Caborn who brought these great sporting facilities to our home city of Sheffield in order to help get the best out of our athletes.

Caborn fought hard to bring the sporting dream to Sheffield and has done a fantastic job in doing so.

When our last precious commodity called steel went into decline Caborn had a new trick up his sleeve, and that was the industry of sport, now thriving and producing sportsmen and women who can bring home other precious metals called medals.

So let’s give Caborn what he deserves a knighthood for services to Sheffield and sport.
