BARNSLEY residents and businesses are being invited to have their say on budget proposals.
The public are being consulted over a number of plans which would help Barnsley Council make £18.7m in savings in the new year. Changes to social care, children and young people’s services and neighbourhoods will be up for discussion at the Town Hall on Thursday, January 17.
Places can be booked for a focus group by contacting Barnsley Council. People can also share their views on the proposals, set to come into force next April, by mail, email and social media.
