One person said the feathered friend had even been attacked himself - suffering a puncture wound above his eye and had blood on him.

The RSPCA attended on Friday, February 23.

A spokesman for the RSPCA said: “An RSPCA officer visited the goose in Boiley Lane, Killamarsh, on Friday and found no breaches of animal welfare law.

“There have been reports that the bird is aggressive towards passers-by, however as this is not a welfare issue, we urge anyone who has any concerns about this to contact the police or the local council.”
