Residents of Hatfield, Doncaster, are being asked for their views on plans for Quarry Park.
The disused quarry has been managed by Doncaster Council since the 1980s and the authority is keen to develop the recreational site further and would like people to come along and have their say.
A consultation event takes place on Saturday, September 21, between 10am and 4pm at the park, with guided walks, children’s activities and a dog show.
Ward councillor Pat Knight said: “This is an opportunity for local people to have their say on the management plan that has been drawn up. We are also hoping to recruit new volunteers for the Friends of the Quarry Park Group.”
