Bawtry Churches Together have joined forces to organise a series of five Lent lectures at Bawtry Hall Conference Centre on Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9pm, starting tonight.
Five speakers will give a distinct understanding of the restoring nature of Christian faith. Coffee is served after each talk and there is a chance to chat about any points raised during the evening.
The first session, this evening, explores the consequences of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection and is led by Philip Ireson, the Chaplain at HMP Doncaster and co-founder of Restoring Broken Walls Trust whose work is to support offenders, ex-offenders and their families.
Pastor Ken Armstrong, of Bessacarr Evangelical Church, will be the speaker on Wednesday, March 23.
