Gunman still on the run after shots fired at Sheffield home

A gunman remains on the loose two days after shots were fired at a Sheffield house.

At around 4.50pm on Monday, police received reports of a car being damaged in Powley Road, Fox Hill.

Then at around 5pm a car pulled up outside a property before a gunshot was fired at a door.

A 37-year-old man, of Fox Hill, was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a vehicle and two women, 33 and 54, also from the Fox Hill area, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three have been released under investigation.

Detectives are searching for a fourth man in connection with the gunshots incident, which they said was 'targeted'.

But a spokeswoman said there was no description of the suspect 'to released at this time'.

Armed police were sent to the scene, near Fox Hill Primary School, at around 5pm on Monday.

No-one was injured in either incident.
