Two Doncaster organisations are among those vying for investment at the UK’s largest social economy trade fair, at Doncaster Racecourse next month
LIFE CIC and TFL Trading Limited will both be pitching for funding and business expertise in a Dragon’s Den -style event on March 3, called Footsey.
It offers a chance for organisations to win investment.
The ‘Dragons’ are made up of voluntary and community sector experts from Key Fund Yorkshire, Charity Bank, UnLtd and The Social Investment Business.
LIFE CIC is a training provider that merges sports and arts provision through a range of activities. It is looking for help to form La Parcours Francaise, a franchise bringing the art form made popular in France and described as ‘urban gymnastics’ or ‘free running’ to communities in South Yorkshire.
TFL wants help buying a vehicle. The organisation helps older, disadvantaged, vulnerable and disabled people live independently in their own homes. Funding for a vehicle would allow TFL Trading to provide a handyman service to reach clients’ homes.
