A SCHEME dedicated to renewable energy schemes in Sheffield is hosting a series of events to showcase its work to communities.

Representatives from Sheffield Renewables, a social enterprise run with the help of volunteers, will give a presentation on their work and share offer.

The first takes place in the city centre’s Quaker Meeting House, James Street, on Wednesday at 6pm. The second will be held at Crowded House, Sharrow Vale Road, on Thursday, November 1, at 7.30pm and the final session is on November 12 at St Thomas Church, Nairn Street, from 8pm.

Tom Harrison, a volunteer with Sheffield Renewables, said: “These small meetings are a great way for local people to see the great things we are planning.”
