Group after new singers
A GROUP which is helping keep alive South Yorkshire's Christmas carolling tradition could soon be back in business.
The Thorpe Hesley Carollers had to wind down their activities after a number of members left and due to the illness of its musical director.
But now it has launched a recruitment campaign for new singers and has arranged a series of rehearsals.
Spokesman Jeremy Blundell said: “A number of new people have expressed an interest in joining, and we have already had invitations to perform later this year.”
