Gritters have turned their attention to side roads in Sheffield as the snow and ice continues to cause problems.
The gritting teams have been out again overnight gritting the primary and secondary network.
The fleet of 19 gritters are currently working on clearing as many side roads as possible.
However, with temperatures forecast to fall later today, the teams are likely to have to return to the primary and secondary roads networks in Sheffield.
A Sheffield Council spokesman said: “This means that we may not be able to clear the majority of the side roads across the city.”
Residents are being ask to check their nearest grit bin and notify the council if it needs to be filled via Sheffield Council or on Twitter at @sccstreetsahead.
