Gritters on alert as snow falls in Sheffield
Sheffield's fleet of gritters are preparing to go out to treat the city's roads.
Wintry showers have fallen across the city over the last few hours, with higher ground worst affected.
The showers are expected to last until late this evening.
Overnight clear spells are forecast and a widespread frost is expected to form as temperatures fall to -2C.
