Grenade in garage
BOMB disposal experts were called to St Mary's Road in Tickhill, Doncaster, after a man found a hand grenade in his garage.
He was advised to stay away from the garage until help arrived, but neighbours were not evacuated.
It is thought the grenade had been in the garage for more than 45 years.
Soldiers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal section of the Royal Logistics Corps removed the the Second World War grenade, which was found to contain no explosive.
