Green light for Doncaster school building plan

Hayfield Lane Primary School, in Auckley, will put in place a mobile building on its site as a temporary measure to house some of its pupils for up to three years.

A council report stated: “The application site is set back from the public highway to a large distance and would not be widely seen outside the public areas of the school and a footpath which runs parallel

to the site.

“It is acknowledged that the building would not complement the form and character of the existing school.

“The proposed building is a short term solution required to house students in lieu of a permanent proposal which is to currently under consideration.

“As such, on this occasion a temporary permission is considered necessary.”
