Local businesses are mucking in to make a difference for Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, during #whirlowweek.
A host of events have been raising funds and awareness all week long, for the work the Trust does with children in the region.
Fundraising teams from Toby Carvery in Parkhead, Co-op Dore & Totley, The Prince of Wales pub and Bundells of Ecclesall Road held various cake sales, an animal onsie day and a number of quizzes to raise cash for the children’s charity.
A spokesman for the Trust said: “Every person deserves an opportunity to learn and develop to their full potential - that’s why we are here. Each year, with kind support, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust helps thousands of children and young people to raise their aspirations and improve their life chances, whatever challenges they may face.
“We work directly with children across South Yorkshire; whether it’s developing a healthy relationship with food, seeing an animal for the first time or helping to get their lives back on track. When a child unlocks their potential, feels confident, accepted and inspired, the possibilities are endless. Support like this really can make a huge difference.”
