SOUTH Yorkshire’s new Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright is making grants of up to £50,000 available to tackle policing priorities.

The Commissioner Grant Scheme awards cash to non-profit making voluntary and community organisations throughout South Yorkshire.

Grants are for schemes which reduce anti-social behaviour, protect vulnerable people, prevent re-offending, improve visible policing and improve the service received by victims and witnesses.
