Grant help for St Wilf’s centre

EXTRA help has been given to the St Wilfrid’s Centre for homeless and vulnerable people in Sheffield - with a joint grant of almost £1,500 towards a new piece of equipment for its workshop.

The Queens Road centre has received the funding from South Yorkshire Community Foundation and city-based investment firm Investec.

Investec has provided £525 and the Community Foundation just under £1,000, to pay for a heavy duty vacuum cleaner to clean up after woodwork sessions.

The workshop provides classes for centre users.
