More significantly, we have also added times of all last buses on Christmas and New Years Eves.

This important detail is not available on the Travel South Yorkshire website and can only be gleaned by searching any one of eight company sites. This is particularly silly for Stagecoach services as none of their four sites has a full list.

You need to look at Sheffield, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Mansfield sites in order to find your city bus detail. Most passengers will have no idea which bit of Stagecoach runs their particular route!

The Sheffield Bus Partnership has refused to endorse or support GoTimetable Sheffield, instead being “satisfied” with what the Travel South Yorkshire produces. It is sad that such a so-called Partnership fails to deliver co-ordinated information.

What is worse is that none of this timetable information is available in printed form – meaning that a significant percentage of non-computer users in the city (say 250,000 people) have no access to important seasonal bus times.
