Gold coins and jewellery stolen in raid in Rotherham

A photograph of gold and coins stolen from a house in Rotherham has been released by police in a bid to trace the items.

Three Australian 1oz gold coins, numerous items jewellery and cash were taken in the raid in Broom Lane, Broom, between 11.20am and 1.15pm on Wednesday, November 25.

The thief or gang responsible forced entry to the house.

PC Lee Beecroft said: “The items taken have great sentimental value and this incident has really distressed the victims.”
