The ex-Basingstoke forward has been in fine form for Sheffield - yet that has not been represented on the scoreboard.

While he scored in his league debut against Cardiff, and has recorded seven assists, he has gone on to hit a dry spell in the next six games.

'Shepp' will be hoping to end that when he returns to his old Hampshire club tomorrow night.

Matsos backed Sheppard "to get his fair share of goals."
