A CAFE within a former industrial building on the edge of Sheffield city centre could be turned into a shisha bar under plans to be considered by councillors.
Businessman Yusuf Jawaid has applied for permission for the development on John Street, in the building next to Stag Works.
The unit, on the first floor, was formerly offices but has been run as a cafe since last September.
It would have a covered roof terrace for smoking, containing seating for up to 12 people.
The proposed opening hours are 11am to midnight, every day and the scheme is expected to be approved today.
