Girls invited to academy
DONCASTER South Safer Neighbourhood Team and Doncaster Rovers are inviting girls aged 13 to 16 to the free Vikettes Academy starting this week.
The fun dance and fitness sessions for girls in the community kick off tomorrow at Rossington Miners’ Welfare Club from 5pm to 6pm, and on Thursday September 13 at Wilby Carr Community Centre, Aldesworth Road, Cantley, at the same time.
Vikettes dance coach Sarah Belk said: “We are giving girls in the south of Doncaster the opportunity to learn cheerleading and street dancing with the Vikettes, the cheerleaders who entertain the crowds at Rovers matches.’’
