Here are five reasons to check out the game at Sheffield Arena at 5pm ;

1: Fitzgerald v Matt Nickerson – the two tough guys have clashed already this season and all the form suggest they will do so again on Sunday. The Giants won't want to be bullied by Fitzy as the Fife Flyers were last Sunday.

2: Levi Nelson could have saved Sheffield Council a fortune when they knocked down Don Valley Stadium. They didn't need a contraction company - they needed Levi. If they had just left him to run around there banging into the walls the Stadium would have been brought to its knees in an hour. Nelson gets the puck and he comes at you. If he hasn't got the puck then watch out because he is coming for you – Boom!

3: "Proper" that’s how new signing Guillaume Desbiens has been described.

A great penalty killer and a big man who takes no messing – Paul Thompson wanted a player who brought us something different and he got him in Desbiens – he is "proper."

4: When buying the kids Christmas presents this year don't forget plenty of batteries – we all do don't we, every year the same. Steelers don't have to worry about batteries as we have our own permanent Duracell Bunny in Tyler Mosienko – the hardest working player in the league. Watch him work for a night and you will drive home guilty, drive home thinking you cheat your employer.

5: It's the Steelers Teddy Bear Toss – who wouldn't want to be at the arena for that. When the Steelers score on Sunday through your Teddy Bears on to the ice. All the bears this year are going to Weston Park Hospital. We have a brilliant relationship with Weston Park after the brilliant way they treated our beloved Amy Usher it is their patients this year who will benefit from the hundreds of bears thrown on to the ice.
