Jack Ridley, senior schools and colleges engagement officer for science, technology and arts, said: "Science Week is a celebration of all things scientific.

“Covering everything from biosciences and chemistry to engineering and computing, we have developed a week of fun, free activities designed to engage audiences of all ages.

"Linking to British Science Week, the programme is packed with interactive masterclasses, inspiring talks, and hands-on exhibitions, all developed and delivered by academics who are experts in their fields.

"Sheffield Hallam is committed to connecting with the community and so the Science Week programme will not only take place on University campuses, but also in primary and secondary schools and colleges across the Sheffield City Region.”
