A SHEFFIELD couple are opening their garden to the public this weekend as part of a national charity drive that has raised over £2.6 million.

Keith and Christine Littlewood’s live at Fern Leigh, 9 Meadowhead Avenue in Meadowhead and the weekend is part of the National Garden Scheme.

Their garden is open from 1pm until 5pm and admission is £2.50 for adults, children free, with plants and refreshments on sale.

“Our garden covers a third of an acre and could be described as a large cottage garden, with different sections and a variety of sitting areas,” Christine said.

The couple have been holding open days for 12 years and have raised over £20,000 during that time. Further open days will be held on July 24 and August 21.
