A gang of up to 10 thugs beat a terrified man during a vicious robbery near a cash point.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, withdrew some money from an ATM in Swallownest High Street when he was attacked by a large group of men.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A group of eight to ten men, dressed in dark clothing and face coverings, are believed to have threatened a 22-year-old man before punching and kicking him after he withdrew cash from an ATM on High Street.

"They stole his bag and ran away in the direction of the Swallownest Co-op, leaving the alleged victim with minor facial injuries that did not require medical treatment."
Police are now appealing for information about the incident, which happened on Saturday, April 7, at 9.30pm.
