The car collided with a white Honda Civic and a silver Honda Civic between the Strines junction and Ladybower at around 9.50pm.

Joshua Rosenberg, 18, from Winsford, Cheshire, who was driving the white Honda, also died in the crash.

Three of Ehtisham's passengers and one of Joshua's were injured along with the driver of the silver Honda.

Two other cars - a Vauxhall Corsa and a Volkswagen Polo - also collided as they braked heavily to avoid the crash scene.

The drivers of those cars escaped unharmed.

Yesterday, prayers were held for Ehtisham at the Risala Masjid mosque in Montgomery Terrace Road, Upperthorpe, before a burial service in Shiregreen cemetery.

Witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw Ehtisham's black BMW beforehand should call Derbyshire Police on 101.
