Funeral for tragic Keith who drowned in the sea

The funeral is to be held this week of a hero Sheffield man who died after saving a pensioner who got into difficulties in the sea.

Keith West, aged 50, of Manor Park, died while he was on holiday with his fiancée in Cyprus.

He got caught in a strong undercurrent in the sea while trying to rescue an OAP, who he helped get to safety.

His funeral is to be held at St Catherine Church, Richmond Road, on Wednesday at noon.

There will be a cremation afterward at City Road Crematorium at 1.15pm.
