The funeral date has been set for a young man killed alongside his girlfriend in a crash in Barnsley.

His girlfriend Hannah Elsworth-Utley, 22, also died in the smash.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the crash at 1.30am on Sunday, June 21 is under way.

Details of Jack’s funeral have been posted on Facebook by his family.

It is to be a crematorium service held on Thursday, July 9, but the time has not yet been announced.

Jack, who trained to be a mechanic at college, was the co-owner of JJ’s Tyres in Stairfoot.

His long-term girlfriend was a nurse at Barnsley Hospital.
