Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is preparing for its biggest fundraising event of the year – when its annual fair is held on Sunday.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and includes a family fun run and three kilometre run, stalls, farmer’s market, musicians performing and other entertainment.
Event organiser Lisa Clowes said: “We’re really excited about the fair this year, the run is bigger and better than ever. There will be all kinds of crafty stalls and farmer’s market goodies.
“Head over to the main arena for a full schedule of entertainment, from dog agility and duck herding to mountain bike demos.
“Dance along to acoustic vibes at the main stage, try your hand at archery, race your friends and family at the JE James bike challenge stand or try the best local ales at the Thornbridge brewery bar.
“Other highlights include a Kids’ Zone and the farm’s first ever Horticulture Show.
Adult entry is £6, and children free. Entry to either run event is £10 for adults and £2 for children. Parking is free.
