Fun events in Doncaster are free for half-term

Free half-term fun activity sessions for youngsters take place this week in Doncaster.

The sessions are full of interest and take place as follows;

Tuesday, February 9, 10am – 11.30am at Balby Street Primary School, Crags Road, Denaby Main.

Wednesday, February 10, 10am - 11.30am for four to seven year olds; and 1.30pm to 3pm for young people aged seven to 11 at Intake Healthy Living Centre, Sandringham Road, Intake.

Thursday, February 11, 10am – 11.30am for young people aged four to seven; and 1.30pm to 3.15pm for those aged seven to 11 at Long Toft Primary School Sports Hall, Church Road, Stainforth.

Lindsay Smithson, one of RDaSH’s Health Promotion Team who has organised the events, said: “Please come along and join in the free fun. Places are available on a first come, first served basis.”

Youngsters need their parents’ consent and their emergency contact details before they can take part.

The events have been organised by school nurses and the Health Promotion Team from the local health trust, Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH).
