Fun day to raise cash
THE Kevin Parkhouse Memorial Sports Fund is planning a fun day in Doncaster on August Bank Holiday.
Attractions at the event on the Ryecroft Road playing fields, Norton, 12pm- 5pm include a rounders competition, children’s races, tug-of-war, tae kwon-do demonstration and stalls.
The fund was set up last year in memory of Kevin Parkhouse, the former Doncaster rugby league star who was killed in a motorway crash in March 2006 aged 51.
