A friendly and affectionate Rottweiler-cross is looking for a new home.

Mildred was taken to RSPCA kennels in Sheffield by an inspector because of concerns for her welfare.

The seven-year-old, who is black and tan, is said to love exploring on walks.

A RSPCA spokesman said: “Mildred is a wonderful Rotti cross lady that originally came into RSPCA care via an inspector due to welfare issues.

“She is extremely friendly and affectionate and she just loves to spend time with you exploring and sniffing on lovely walks.

“She is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and have all the love and attention for herself. She is not happy around other animals and she is looking for new owners to help and support her so she can become more confident around other dogs when out on walks.

“She will require some ongoing training in this area with the guidance of the centre.

“Mildred will make a very friendly and rewarding companion for owners who have a little time and a lot of love to give. We have very little history on this beautiful girl but we know she would love a quieter

home with older children 13 and above who are confident and sensible around her and will understand her needs.

“This fabulous lady deserves the chance for true happiness. Please could you offer her a loving new home?”
