As part of the In Memoriam 2014 project, which is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, a scheme has been ongoing to locate and log all war memorials throughout the UK

United Kingdom.

The Smartwater Foundation, a not for profit company, is offering to protect memorials at no charge, making them uniquely identifiable and also offering robust traceability should a theft occur.

The Smartwater Foundation would like to offer support to as many people as possible and is encouraging community groups, churches, parish councils and other organisations involved in the upkeep and security of a war memorial to contact [email protected] or visit the In Memoriam 2014 website for more information at www.inmemoriam2014.org
