Four Doncaster parties bidding for votes in next month’s election are set to go head-to-head tonight at a exclusive debate, backed by the Free Press.
Taking place in the Little Theatre in King Street, Labour candidate Rosie Winterton, who has represented the ward since 1997, will be placed in the hot seat along with fellow Doncaster central hopefuls, UKIP candidate, Chris Hodgson, and Mev Akram of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition and John Brennan who will represent English Democrat candidate, David Burnett.
Free Press readers are set to put questions to those taking part in the two-hour long debate.
The event has been arranged by event co-ordinator Nadeem Murtuja in partnership with South Yorkshire Newspapers and community groups including the Migrant Rights Network, Yorkshire Tax Payers and Fairness Forum and the Just human rights organisation.
