Free Passport to Leisure

BARNSLEY folk are being offered discounts at South Yorkshire and Wakefield leisure facilities with a Passport to Leisure card.

Passport to Leisure cards are available to Barnsley residents who are on benefit, aged 60 or over, 16 or 17 years old, full-time students aged 18 or over, disabled, or a junior or adult dependent of someone on a benefit.

To get a card free of charge take proof of eligibility to one of the enrolment sessions at Kexborough Methodist Church on Churchfield Lane, Kexborough from 10am to 12.30pm tomorrow, at Mapplewell Village Hall on Darton Lane, Mapplewell, from 10am to 12.30pm this Wednesday, and at Darton Health Centre, Church Street, Darton from 10am to noon next Wednesday September 26.
