Free life-saving lessons for students across South Yorkshire

There is a second chance for secondary schools across South Yorkshire to sign up for free life-saving lessons.

Following on from Restart a Heart Day 2014 and 2015, when more than 31,000 youngsters at 137 secondary schools received cardiopulmonary resuscitation training, there will be a repeat event on October 18 this year.

Hundreds of ambulance staff and volunteers from Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust will teach youngsters how to treat someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest - and maybe save a life. In addition, all participating pupils can enter a poster competition to maybe win a Zoll defibrillator for their school!
