Free to learn hedge-laying
THERE'S no beating about the bush when it comes to fitness... now Doncaster's Green Gym is offering a free course in hedge-laying.
The course would normally cost 25 per person but the Green Gym has 12 free places on offer for the next session, which takes place from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Brodsworth Community Woodland on November 21.
Places must be booked in advance and full day attendance is required. Old clothes and sturdy footwear should be worn and, as a precaution, it is advisable volunteers’ tetanus injections are up to date.
