free football sessions are being offered to children in Chesterfield over the summer in a scheme aimed at keeping youngsters busy during their break from school.
Five-a-side sessions will be held on weekdays between 1pm and 3pm on the astro-turf pitches at Queens Park, starting next Monday, July 25.
The sessions have been organised by local police officers, Sporting Futures, Chesterfield Football Club and Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership.
Qualified coaches will be running the sessions alongside police officers from the Chesterfield Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The sessions are aimed at youngsters aged between 10 and 16.
