Free exam help for city young

Have your say

A FREE exam results helpline is offering advice to thousands of Sheffield youngsters waiting to receive their GCSE and A Level grades.

For those who receive higher or lower marks than expected and want to explore alternative options about their future, the Exam Results Helpline is available on 0808 100 8000.

The helpline, which runs until August 25, is manned by independent careers experts.

They can offer information and advice on a range ob subjects surrounding A Level results this Thursday, August 16, and GCSEs on Thursday, August 23.

Last year the helpline, delivered by UCAS on behalf of the Department of Education, took thousands of calls from students and their parents.

Bob Walker, who has 25 years’ experience as a professional careers advisor, said: “Our role is to help young people to make the right decisions.”
