Free electric blankets test
RESIDENTS can have their electric blankets tested free of charge in Barnsley.
People can take their electric blankets to locations across the borough where Trading Standards officers will make a visual inspection of the plug and conduct an insulation test on the blanket.
The testing will take place on Tuesday at Goldthorpe Library from 10 am to noon, on Wednesday at Cudworth Centre of Excellence, Robert Road, Cudworth, from 9.30am to noon and on Friday at the Central Library, Shambles Street, from 9.30 am to noon.
