Four suspects bailed over attack in Sheffield street

Four suspects arrested over an attack in a Sheffield street have been released on police bail.

A 17-year-old boy and three men, aged 18, 26 and 36, were arrested and quizzed by officers over an attack on a 30-year-old man in Lowedges last week.

Officers were called in at around 9.45am on Saturday, June, 11 when an injured man was found to the rear of a property in Lupton Walk.

He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 17-year-old boy and three men, aged 18, 26 and 36-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of assault. All have been bailed pending further enquiries.

"Officers remain keen to hear from anyone with information about the incident, or anyone living locally who may have witnessed suspicious activity."
