Emergency services were called at 10.20pm on Saturday, December 26 after a 26-year-old man was shot at the Old Harrow pub on Main Street, Grenoside. The man was taken to Northern General Hospital in a serious but stable condition and later discharged.

Another man was shot in the leg on Penistone Road on January 20.

The man was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

The incident was a ‘targeted attack’ on a particular individual according to South Yorkshire Police officers, who said there was no cause for alarm for the wider public.
