Foul-mouthed cyclist damages car in Peak District

A foul-mouthed cyclist deliberately damaged a woman's car in the Peak District.

Police said the woman was driving along the B6048 Pilsley stretch when two cyclists suddenly moved out in front of her car.

She sounded her horn and one of the cyclists shouted abuse at her, swinging his bike at her car and kicking it, causing damage.

He is described as white, in his 30s and about 5ft 6in tall. He is slim and wore a helmet and glasses.

Witnesses or anyone with information over the incident – which happened at about 3.40pm on Sunday, March 13 – should call PC Guy Parker on 101, quoting crime reference number 11533/16, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
