A BUSY Sheffield road was closed for more than hour after a blaze broke out in a former factory.
Around 20 firefighters from Mansfield Road, Central and Darnall stations were called to the site of the former SR Gent factory on East Bank Road, in Olive Grove, at 5.36pm on Tuesday.
They arrived to find the single-storey, 50m by 20m building well alight, and immediately tackled the fire using hose reel jets.
After putting out the blaze they carried out an investigation, which found the fire was started deliberately.
They left the scene at 7.35pm. No-one was injured.
